Lessons emphasize musicality, feel, and practical technique in rock, jazz, funk and other styles.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and musical interests. Expect hands-on coaching in timekeeping, rudiments, drumset coordination, and style-specific approaches. We also provide audition prep, performance coaching, and strategies for playing with bands. Students attend from nearby neighborhoods including Noe Valley, the Mission District, Castro, Hayes Valley, SoMa, and from across the city near Golden Gate Park and UCSF.
