How It Works
Step 1: Initial assessment and goal plan
We begin with a 30 to 45 minute evaluation, either in-person at the studio or via video. The instructor assesses technique, timing, and repertoire, then sets short-term and long-term goals, for example audition prep, festival performance, or improved soloing.
Step 2: Customized practice program
You receive a weekly practice plan with targeted exercises, play-along tracks, and notation or charts when needed. Lessons focus on technical drills, song-specific work, and performance skills like dynamic control, cueing, and solo structure.
Step 3: Mock performances and review
Each month we run a mock gig or recording session to simulate performance conditions. We record, review, and deliver actionable feedback so students know how to adjust technique and stage choices before real events.
